EWIGKEIT Preview Demo Version Of 'Guantanamo Bay' Track
August 13, 2006English experimental metal project EWIGKEIT (currently signed to Earache Records) has uploaded a demo recording of a new track, entitled "Guantanamo Bay International - Suspect Package Holiday", on its MySpace page.
Commented EWIGKEIT mastermind James Fogarty: "The track is not only in reference to the U.S.A's infamous Guantanamo Bay holding Centre in a military occupied part of socialist Cuba, but also a look at the effects of the continuing globalist's facist war on our rights as free citizens of the world, through use of deception, fear, the media and other Machiavellian tactics. It's totally frustrating how all the plans for this 'Project for a New American Century' have been freely available to the public since those lunatics published their manifesto in 2000 — quite honestly it's either a case of people being ignorant of its existance, or too stupid to care."
EWIGKEIT, which started off in 1996 as an underground black/death metal project, has more recently released two highly respected and challenging albums (2003's "Radio Ixtlan" and 2005's "Conspiritus") via Earache Records. EWIGKEIT also released a free MP3 EP, "Return to the Land of Fog", which is still available at the Earache web site here.
EWIGKEIT is continuing to change and develop as a musical project. Additional new material will be previewed at the MySpace page in the coming months.
